After dealing with the basic terms involved in Inference,  it is time to have a look at some exercises. So, gear up!

Find the basic blocks of inference (vyaapti, hetu, and saadhya) in the following arguments.

1. "You can find the place where a vehicle has been registered by looking at its number plate (and knowing its registration number) because, each city has a unique code, which forms a part of the registration numbers of all vehicles registered there."

2. "To check for the flatness of surface you can use a spirit level. If the bubble in the spirit level comes to rest exactly at the centre when kept on a surface, then the surface is perfectly flat".

3. " When you can see a person's eyes in a mirror, then he/she can see yours too because, the angle of incidence of a light ray is equal to the angle of reflection"

4. "I opened a room and saw that the fan in the room was slowing down (as it happens after switching off a fan). So, someone else should have been there in that room, a short while ago (Note:  Fan switch was off,  negligible air effects)".
